Aldo’s journey in the industry is defined by longevity and hands-on experience. Before establishing his own firm, he spent nearly nine years in the field of education, where he developed a deep commitment to customer service and communication. He transitioned into the mortgage industry in 2004 as a production manager in Los Angeles, gaining invaluable experience in a high-pressure market.

On June 21, 2006, Aldo founded the company with a vision to grow a team of 100 to 150 employees. Originally established as “Diamond Crown Lending” in Pasadena—a nod to the city’s reputation as the “Crown City”—Aldo later rebranded to Direct Capital Lending to reflect a more professional and elegant identity.

Aldo’s leadership was tested early on during the 2008 mortgage recession. While the competition was relentless and marketing budgets were tight, Aldo navigated the storm by relying on the trust he had built with past clients. This resilience not only kept the business afloat but led to one of his proudest milestones: purchasing the very building where Direct Capital Lending operates today.
